Wanted! The Perfect Credit Score

Do you have what it takes to accomplish the perfect credit score of 850?

Let’s face it; this is an exceptionally rare achievement.  All in all, it reflects many, many years of always testing the waters and carefully paying your bills on time and managing the balances on all your open accounts.

Since credit scores range between 300 and 850 – earning a score of 850 is no drop in the ocean.

In fact, it’s safe to say that only a tiny number of American’s ever gained the privilege of reaching this milestone.

But, I’m getting way ahead of myself.  To reach the famed perfect credit score of 850, you’ll have to dig in your heels and follow these guidelines in order to get to the mountaintop.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Time is of the essence.  Bite the bullet and pay all of your bills on time.

Listen, this is no joke.  Nothing hurts your credit score more than late payments, collections being filed and bankruptcies.

2. Keep your eyes open for any inaccuracies on your credit report.

In other words, check your credit report on a regular basis.  In one fell swoop, inaccurate information can deal your credit score a fatal blow.

IF you happen to come across some information that is wrong, contact the creditor immediately.  Errors will not correct themselves.  When the dust settles, you’ll be the one left holding the bag.

3. Keep your debt low.  Bear in mind that you must keep your account balances lower than 50 percent of the available credit.

Let me show you exactly what I mean:  If you have a credit limit of $2000, keep your balance due below $1000.

4. Exercise a little patience.  Quite honestly, time heals all wounds.  And the same goes for increasing your credit score.

Reaching a perfect credit score means establishing a long history of never missing a payment and more importantly, paying a bill on or before it is due.

5. Limit the number of inquiries on your credit report.  I’ll let you in on a little secret.  Too many inquires on your credit report over a short length of time will do a heck of a lot more harm than good.

It gives the appearance that you are overextending yourself and trying to take on more debt – debt you may not be able to repay.

The proof is in the pudding, and obtaining a perfect credit score is definitely in the cards.

Are you willing to face impossible odds to win the credit war?

Go ahead…strike while the iron is hot.
